Charles Frederick McKinney, 88, passed on Aug. 18, 2025, at home, surrounded by family.

Chuck’s life was defined by his devotion to Christ and generous love for all. He leaves a legacy of 50 years of ministry - preaching, teaching, and serving people in churches in Porterville, Fairfield and Suisun, Concord, and Wheatland, California.

Born on May 27, 1937 in Los Angeles, California, to parents Elvin and Leah (Pitcher) McKinney.

Chuck is survived by his children: Vicki McKinney, Chuck McKinney Jr. and his wife: Margaret, Rick McKinney, Gina Hagaman and her husband: Jim, Matt McKinney and his wife: Holli and Kenny McKinney and his wife: Leah; as well as 15 grandchildren; and 18 great- grandchildren.

Twice widowed, he has joined his beloved wives Barbara Ann Collins (d. 2020) and Barbara Jean Mahoney (d. 1962); children Damon and Elwin Charles; grandchild, Trey; and great-grandchild, Liam.

There will be a celebration of life for friends and family: Saturday August 23 at 11am at WellSpring Christian Church in Spring Hill Tennessee and Saturday, September 6th, 2025 at 11am in Room A101 Bayside Adventure 6401 Stanford Ranch Rd, Roseville, California.
