Obituary
Mrs. Catherine Murphy “Cathy” Brown, age 70 of Mt. Juliet, TN died Saturday evening at her residence, ending her battle against ALS. She was a native of Dawson, AL and daughter of the late Mabron Arthur and Mable Ercell Smith Murphy. Prior to retirement she had served as Owner and CEO of Southern Library Bindery Company in Nashville, TN. She married Norman Brown in 1983 and until her death, was at his side, and he at hers. Together they travelled and lived life to the fullest, enjoying each other’s company at all times. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son: Morrace Allen of Huntsville, AL; two sisters: Frances Hope of Lafayette, AL and Audrey Satchell of Pleasant Grove, AL; and a brother: Ralph Murphy of Marrietta, GA.

We shared alot of precious memories. I will never forget the bindery days and all the fun we had. She was like a member of my family. I will miss her very much. I loved her and will remember her forever. My prayers are with all the family. Barbara
