Obituary

Our sweet Camille left us too soon. At the age of only 35, she was planning so many good things for her future. She planned to return to college and finish her degree. She planned to be there for her son Tyler for his ball games, for his graduation in five years, for his wedding and the birth of his children. She had made many plans with her beloved sister Alicia to be there for her during her pregnancy, the birth of her child and to be there to see that child grow up. Camille was a loving mother, a devoted sister and a beloved daughter who gave of herself lavishly. She made friends wherever she went and was a good and true friend. Camille was a loving and giving person who was happiest when she was busy doing for others. A beautiful person inside and out, she was always laughing, joking and finding the humor in every life situation. She had just finished crocheting two baby hats for her sister’s baby due in April. She tye-dyed a baby onesie and gave the hats and the onesie to her sister the day before she went to Heaven. Camille was born in Nashville and grew up in Brentwood, TN. Camille attended David Lipscomb Elementary, Brentwood High School, Trevecca Nazarene University and The Beauty Institute. Camille worked as a hairstylist at various salons in and around Nashville. Camille is survived by her son Joseph Tyler Hernandez, her sister Alicia Joy Hernandez and her mother Rita Milby Hernandez and her grandmother Inez Milby. Camille had an aunt and uncle, Jan and Mark Greathouse, two cousins Matt Laureen Greathouse and Wes Angel Greathouse, both have three daughters. Camille leaves behind untold numbers of friends who were blessed to know her. We, who are left behind to wonder at the quickness of her passing, will always remember her sunny smile, the music of her laughter, and the warmth of her dear, sweet, loving heart.

No words can express to the family how sorry I am for this loss. Rita, I know how much you loved and were there every minute for beautiful Camille. Tyler such a loving and sweet young man. I pray for comfort for all of you each day. My heart breaks with yours, even though I cannot understand the depth of your pain. She is in heaven now and what better angel to watch over all of you. Love, Peggy
