Brenda Gail Murks, age 64, passed away on March 15, 2021, in Murfreesboro, TN.

Brenda was born on July 06, 1956, in Sparta, TN to her late parents Arnold and Irene Mabe Dodson.

Brenda was a dedicated wife, mother, daughter, and sister. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, they brought so much light into her life. Brenda cherished the beauty of nature and flowers. The journey from seed to blossom was very special to her. She was always tending to her garden, growing the most beautiful flowers.

Brenda is survived by her loving husband, Wesley Murks; children: Donnie Pomeroy and Shane Pomeroy; grandchildren: Preston Pomeroy, Thommi Shoemaker, and Trevor Shoemaker; and siblings: Walter Mabe, James Mabe, and Rita Haynes.
